Shipping policy

We ship worldwide from the Czech Republic.

Dispatch

Orders are packed and handed to the post within two working days. Orders placed at the weekend or on a Czech public holiday go out on the next working day. Pre-orders are dispatched from the release date shown on the product page, not from the date you ordered.

Shipping is charged once per order, not per item. The exact amount appears at checkout, in your own currency, before you pay.

Delivery times are estimates given in good faith and start the day after dispatch. Whatever the estimate says, we will deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest, unless we have agreed another date with you. If we miss that, you can give us a reasonable further period, and if we miss that too, you can cancel and we will refund you in full.

Pickup in Prague

You can collect your order from us at Jaurisova 515/4, Praha 4, free of charge. Choose Pickup instead of Ship at checkout. We email you when the order is ready, usually within a week; write to hi@loudetudes.com to agree a time and bring your confirmation email. Pre-orders are ready for collection from the release date.

Tracking

You receive a dispatch email with a tracking number as soon as your parcel leaves us.

Customs, duties and import taxes

Orders inside the European Union carry no customs charges. Orders outside the EU may be charged import duty, local VAT or a handling fee by the destination country. Those charges are set by that country, are not included in what you pay us, and are payable by the person receiving the parcel. We declare every parcel at its true contents and value. We cannot mark an order as a gift or declare a lower value.

If something goes wrong

Nothing has arrived. Post can be slow, so please check the tracking first. A parcel counts as lost once 21 working days have passed inside Europe, or 40 working days outside Europe, which is the point at which a claim can be made. Write to us then and we will send a replacement or refund you.

It arrived damaged. Photograph the outer packaging and the book, and email us within 14 days of delivery. We will replace it at our cost.

Wrong or incomplete address. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or it was not collected, we can send it again once postage is paid, or refund the order less the original postage.

Cancelling and returning

You have 30 days from the day your parcel arrives to cancel, without giving a reason. Tell us at hi@loudetudes.com. You then have 14 days from telling us to send the goods back. We refund within 14 days of receiving them, or of your proof of postage, to the payment method you used, and the refund includes the standard delivery cost you originally paid. Return postage is paid by you. Goods must come back in a condition we can sell.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Czech law or under European Union consumer law.
